Real Estate condo demand

Condo demand is climbing in many cities of America. Condo sales in the 80’s reached less than 200,000 annually, and in the 90’s that same number increased to 500,000. And, in the last three years of the new millennium, condo sales are over 800,000 per year. This ascend is becoming higher in Florida State, especially in the whole metropolitan area of Fort Lauderdale. Condo prices in Weston City as well as in Aventura have the best ranks and persist on getting higher. Many people choose for a condo instead of buying a home. Adding that, apartment proprietors are converting some of their building complex into condos. The condo business has turned into a very profitable Real Estate investment.

The Arts Council of Greater Weston is an independent organization founded by Weston residents. They work hard to carry out cultural events to the area. The Arts Council also work together with the Weston Philharmonic Society to perform outdoor concerts during the entire year. Arts and cultural events in Weston enriches the area providing lots of entertainment choices to visitors as well as residents.

Broward County goes for more in Pembroke Pines

In 1992 hurricane Andrew ruined about 25,000 homes in Miami-Dade County. A vast number of homeowners rebuilt in Pembroke Pines and since then the city’s population has doubled. City leaders created the first charter schools in 1998 becoming a success today. In other words they never delay things to be solved by others, they just get things fixed by themselves. City planners call for a communal center, housing, more restaurants and offices near to City Hall. The objective is to build a first class downtown. There would be an investment of $40 million to do it and the city will get the money back by selling the land to developers who would be in charge of making the buildings. Although Pembroke Pines is working hard on new future projects, the city continues attracting more young families by itself. Pines has a huge park land and a roller hockey park where children can play safely. There are lot of out-door activities for children to join during the entire year including sports, tournaments and events. Young families choose Pembroke Pines to buy a home and it’s just for its family oriented community. It doesn’t take too long to call Pembroke Pines “home”.

Weston City offers more cultural events

Weston is considered the city of the Performing Arts. Director of community services Jeff Skidmore once said that they want to provide people as much exposure to the arts as they can by giving them the opportunity to enjoy different kind of cultural events. Weston residents have received the call and the number of people present at film, theatre and concerts reached thousands. Concerts of all types are programmed each year. People can enjoy from jazz and marching bands to symphonic. In the Weston Regional Park people can watch a movie while at picnic. Some films are shown out-doors at no cost. Children can enjoy a special theatre program at Cypress Bay High School Auditorium.

Best time for buying a home

This is the best time for buying a home. If you are a first time home buyer you need to keep in mind that there are special programs for first time home buyers. Low interest rates and some new financing programs may give you the opportunity to buy a home this year. Many families purchased the home of their dreams at the end of 2005. The lower the rates are, the lower the monthly payment will be. This means that the person who is buying a home could pay a mortgage for less that what he pays for a rent. By this way, home buyers will be saving more money. However, it is highly recommended to not rush things by acting fast. Consulting a Real Estate Broker is a must.
