Homeowners: Winter heating expenses may not be a problem
The American Gas Association recently said that the latest decrease seen in natural gas prices are expected to help reduce consumer heating bills this upcoming winter. Natural gas consumers will see in their bills a realistic drop of about 10% even in the tropical areas. A big number of U.S. residents heat their single-family homes, townhouses and apartments with natural gas. And, even though extensive natural gas prices started to drop by September of 2006, the price of natural gas during the entire year, not only during the coolest months, established consumer bills. Utilities classically start buying and stocking a large portion of the natural gas they consume to meet up the shopper demand from six to 18 months prior to winter.
